Our Experience

We were taken aback by the uniqueness of this restaurant. Basically, you can choose from a variety of options to make your own meal. You select ingredients and build your own salad or wrap. You start off by selecting a base together with one protein of your choice. Thereafter you have the selection of either 3 or 4 toppings from a range of 38 different toppings. Lastly, you choose your dressing, there are 9 options that you can choose from. You may purchase additional toppings if you wish.

There are also standardised salads, warm bowls and wraps which you can choose depending on your preference. I had the “love of my life” wrap which was absolutely delicious. The wrap had a mixed lettuce base with garlic croutons, pumpkin seeds, avocado, red onions, red cabbage and cajun chicken with a creamy italian sauce. All these flavours came together in perfect harmony complimenting each other.  We could actually taste the freshness of each ingredient which was really amazing. The cajun chicken with the creamy italian sauce provided the right amount of spice we were looking for. This wrap really hit the spot. I am now in a dilemma when I go back to Tossd. Should I try something new or order the “love of my life” wrap again as it was that good.

The other wrap we had was from the “build your own” menu. The kids helped us in selecting the ingredients for this wrap based on their mood (which was not that great as they were exhausted from being up since 5am). Despite this, they really enjoyed their respective wraps. They were unable to finish their wraps at Tossd, however, once we got home and they had some rest they were looking for their wraps and devoured the rest of it while saying how delicious it was. The kids wraps also had a mixed lettuce base with broccoli, cucumber, feta and lemon and herb chicken with a honey mustard dressing. I have never added broccoli to a wrap before and was amazed at how tasty the broccoli in this wrap was.The broccoli and feta combination is just something you have to try.

They also serve fresh bread which they make themselves. The wide variety of topping options is also incredible. With a list of 38 toppings I am sure you will find a combination you would absolutely love.

On the drinks menu they have hot and cold beverages together with a wide variety of juices and smoothies. We tried the Very Berry smoothie and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really creamy and tasty and had the perfect consistency.

Tossd has a relaxed ambiance, ample seating space, friendly and efficient service and really amazing food. The portion sizes were generous making it really good value for money with exceptional quality and taste. Tossd is also listed on Mr Delivery, Orderin and UberEats making delivery to your door convenient.
